It seems like we've been in cold and flu season for months already with no sign of it moving on. I found these tips on Health Magazine a while back and have tried following some of them - regular massage, yes please; cold shower, hmmm not so enthusiastic! But I have managed to escape relatively unscathed this year so maybe there's something in it. Have a look and see what you think...

The one about the strawberries is
horrifying - 13 different pesticides
applied by men in Hazmat suits.
Corn is even worse - much of the nation's corn supply is genetically engineered to produce its own pesticide supply within the plant!

Why is it that the older you get the quicker your birthday seems to come around? It's mine next week and I'm already wondering where the last year could possibly have gone. It's easy to see the external signs of aging and we are constantly bombarded with products promising to reverse all of those; this article focuses instead on what's inside - your brain, lungs, DNA, heart and bones - it describes what happens to them as we age, and then tells us what we can do to rewind the clock and stay 35 forever. In my case I think 35 might be a bit optimistic - if I can stay feeling like I'm on the right side of 50 I'll be very happy!
